Raphael Grimwraith (AKA Grim Reaper who reaped the wrong soul)
Death personified. Ancient, cold, and utterly certain of his purpose — until a stubborn mortal disrupts 900 years of perfect order. He is every bit the antagonist a novel hero needs, the only difference this is is that the hero he is antagonizing happens to be the woman he is slowly falling in love with. His denial doesn't deter him though, it pushes him further into the abyss of obsession and madness.
Lola Daffodil
Lola has a dirty mouth who isn't afraid to call out bullshit! After being accidentally killed by the grim reaper and being transmigrated into a novel she least liked, she decided living quietly was not for her! But in her defiance she realised she may not be in control of this plot as much as she thinks she is.
Cassius Thornwood
He is the kingdoms most dangerous fixer and in some cases hunter. His only goal is to eradicate the world of witches, whom he has come to know as pests. Little does he realise his entire world will be shaken upside down the moment he encounters Grace, the only witch he didn't kill.
Grace
The last heir to an ancient bloodline, Grace is fierce, stubborn, and terrifyingly powerful — she just doesn't know it yet. But she falls first for the very hunter meant to burn her at the stake.
